Home Health Aide
Our Home Health Aides are trained to assist individuals with important personal tasks such as bathing, grooming, and a variety of hygiene needs. They can also provide assistance with instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) such as light housekeeping, cooking, laundry, and more.
Personal Care Services
Our Personal Care Services include providing assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, bed bath, showering, toileting, restorative-ambulating, incontinence care, oral hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, meal feeding assistance, positioning, and transferring.
Home Maker Services
Our Home Maker Services include providing medication reminders, grocery and shopping errands, laundry task, linen change, transport to appointments, watering plants, small cat and dog walking, bill payment errands, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
Companionship Service and Supervision
In order to prevent loneliness and isolation and to promote our client’s safety, we provide Companion Service and Supervision. This includes outings to the mall, sightseeing, gardening, playing board games and cards, crafting, and coloring.
Skilled Nursing
For our clients who require the expert assistance of a trained nurse, we have well qualified nurses who can deliver a broad range of Skilled Nursing services. This includes services such as wound care, IV therapies, case management, medication assistance, diabetes care, vital signs monitoring, and other nursing services specific to your condition.
Occupational Therapy
In order to help our clients resume their normal daily life and self-care capabilities, we offer the services of our licensed Occupational Therapist. They can provide a variety of Occupational Therapy services such as re-education of basic living skills, balance training, flexibility exercises, adaptive equipment training, home modification assessment, and more.
Physical Therapy
In order to help our clients regain their physical capabilities after an injury, disease, or to cope with a disability, we have a qualified Physical Therapist who can deliver a broad range of Physical Therapy services. This includes services such as gait training, adaptive equipment training, range of motion exercises, muscle strengthening exercises, and more.
Respite Care
Caregiving for a sick, aging, or disabled loved one can be a physically, mentally, and emotionally overwhelming responsibility. In order to provide family caregivers with the opportunity to take a break, we offer our Respite Care service for families who need it. Through our respite care service, we provide family caregivers with the opportunity to rest and recharge, take a vacation, and step aside from their caregiving responsibilities for a period of time.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), AED, and First Aid Training
Do you need a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and First Aid training? Merrimack Valley Health Solutions offers both Adult and Child CPR, AED, and First Aid training. Our instructors are certified by the American Red Cross to offer CPR (both Child and Adult), AED, and First Aid training. Our instructors are knowledgeable and will teach you the skills you need to save lives in life-threatening emergency situations. All our classes are OSHA compliant. You can make a difference in the community, in your family, at your job by knowing how to effectively perform CPR and First Aid when you need it best.
